Marketing Yourself As An Independent Creator (Pt. 1)
February 5, 2013 in Podcast
WE’VE ALL ASKED THIS QUESTION…
How come my art/product/website isn’t making me money? No matter what line of work you are in, knowing how to market yourself is essential! It’s not just about what you’re selling – it’s about how you present and offer desired value to your market, audience, etc. That said, no one knows the importance of being able to create an independent economy for one’s self more then us ARTISTS!!! The problem is that most creative people just want to be creative. Hey, who doesn’t?…that’s the fun part! Short of a fluke or a miracle, however, simply putting your work online in front of random viewers just isn’t enough to generate a lucrative audience/result. There’s a lot more to it and we can ALL benefit from knowing how to market ourselves!
Join us, your Corner Booth Animation pals, Luis Escobar, Chance Raspberry, and Larry Whitaker as we take one of hopefully several looks into the nuts and bolts of independent marketing.
